ABOUT US
Built on almost 20 years of hands-on experience.
Major Mix was started by Matt and Keryl McCann in 2025 in Grenfell, Central West NSW.
The business grew from Matt's nearly 20 years of experience in the concreting industry through Makcrete Concrete Services.
Over that time, Matt has formed and poured concrete across Australia on everything from commercial and residential projects to railway bridges, underground roadways, culverts, fertiliser sheds and major silo developments.
He's worked with just about every type of concrete along the way.
And that experience is exactly what led to Major Mix.
WHY MAJOR MIX
A BETTER MIX STARTED WITH A SIMPLE PROBLEM
For years, Matt struggled to find a premium concrete mix that delivered the consistency he wanted on site.
Rather than accepting what was available, Matt and Keryl decided to develop their own.
Using Matt’s hands-on knowledge, they developed a premium blend using regionally sourced materials. The mix underwent rigorous industry testing before being put into commercial use.
The result is concrete made with the person pouring it in mind.
Designed by concreters, for concreters.
OUR BATCH PLANT
AUSTRALIAN BUILT. RIGHT HERE IN GRENFELL
Our brand-new batch plant was built in Australia and uses leading Australian technology in concrete production.
Today, Major Mix has a team of 12 working across concrete production and delivery, raw material delivery, precast manufacturing and customer service.
With three operational agitator trucks, we service approximately 100km around Grenfell, while our precast range is available for delivery Australia wide.

Our batch plant is located at 4 Mary Gilmore Way, Grenfell NSW, with three operational agitator trucks servicing customers within approximately 100km.
